Master Class / Difficult Diseases / Treatment Plans
Achieving Clinical Success in the Treatment of Difficult Diseases in Chinese Medicine
Heiner Fruehauf’s educational initiative, Classical Chinese Medicine, has partnered with Net of Knowledge and Classical Pearls to bring you these master mentorship opportunities with our upcoming course, Achieving Clinical Success in the Treatment of Difficult Diseases in Chinese Medicine.
We are delighted to introduce Dr. Michael Berletich, who recently joined our senior faculty at ClassicalChineseMedicine.org. Dr. Michael Berletich has a clinical doctorate in Chinese medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and is a seasoned holistic practitioner with more than two decades of teaching experience. He began his mentorship with Dr. Heiner Fruehauf in 2000, filling herbal formulas, studying classical texts, and absorbing the intricacies of Chinese medicine in an apprenticeship setting. He was previously the Dean at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. His training continued in both the US and China, by studying directly with Dr. Fruehauf as well as Dr. Fruehauf’s teachers Wang Qingyu, Liu Lihong, and others.
Drs. Fruehauf and Berletich will be hosting our next course, Achieving Clinical Success in the Treatment of Difficult Diseases with Chinese Medicine. This course is intended as a practical Internal Medicine course that will lead us through clinical cases, provide clinical assessment tools, and deepen our ability to approach complex cases successfully.
The program is designed as a direct sequel to the previous series presented by Heiner Fruehauf and Michael Berletich entitled “Classical Strategies for Effective Herbal Formulation”. Interested participants who have not yet taken the earlier course will still benefit from taking this seminar series, since both course series are designed as stand-alone programs that are coherent and complete in themselves. Content will be delivered via shared presentation and conversation between the lecturers, and will feature significant case-based learning and treatment options that can be directly applied. Each two hours of lecture and discussion will be followed by a 30-minute interactive Q&A period.
As a comprehensive mentorship and tutorial, Heiner and Michael will cover both herbal and acu-moxa strategies. Diseases like IBS, fibromyalgia, Lyme, the common cold, COVID, GERD, autoimmune disorders, cancer, female disorders, and other conditions frequently encountered in today’s clinic will be covered in detail.
The goal of this certificate program is to help each attendee achieve a greater level of clinical confidence and skill in the process of diagnosing, treating, and prescribing. The course series will cover the most common and difficult disorders. It is geared towards benefiting both new practitioners with limited clinical experience, as well as seasoned practitioners who already have a solid foundation but wish to gain new clinical insights and inspiration.
Once you have registered for the event, you will receive access to the live program on Net of Knowledge 10 days before it begins. To attend the event, you will need to login to your Net of Knowledge account and attend in full to be able to access your certificate.
