Hello Heiner,
Thank you for the video excerpt. Liu’s lectures are very enlightening. I remember reading that you are translating his book Si Kao Zhong Yi. How is the progress on it? Do you have a publish date? I’m waiting anxiously.
Thanks,
Eric
Eric: Thank you for your interest in Liu Lihong’s teachings! To me, his life’s work represents one of the best examples of classical Chinese medicine as it still survives in China. And yes, his landmark book, Sikao zhongyi (Rethinking Chinese Medicine), is indeed being translated by ClassicalChineseMedicine right now. Due to the enormous scope of the project (the original has 500 pages), we have been working on it for more than a year so far, and plan to have the translation completed in July of 2011. Publication is scheduled for the end of the year. In the meantime, Liu Lihong and I are planning to co-teach a series of monthly webinars–stay tuned via the newsletter if you are interested.
Excerpts will most likely be posted on the website, but we will try to publish this book in its entirety in regular trade book form.
